Lana Kurasidze, our Chairperson, and Frank Scalzo, long-time Committee member, were interviewed on Dublin City FM on Wednesday, 7 July 2021.

In a short but intense interview, Lana spoke about her work with BADIG, how her new mobility aid, LifeGlider, has greatly changed her life and how she hopes to encourage greater interest in LifeGlider from other disabled people and from local entrepreneurs who might be interested in becoming an agent for LifeGlider in Ireland.  

Frank offered an insightful external perspective on these topics and commented in particular on the many challenges which Lana and other disabled people face each day from broken pavements, illegally parked cars on pavements and other hazards on our streets.

We were very honoured to be invited for interview.

Dublin City FM 103.2 is a fantastic local radio station, providing a mix of news and lifestyle items for residents and business in the capital – definitely well worth a listen!
